On April 25th, me and my band put on a fundraiser we had been planning for a while. It was held at an iconic venue in our hometown, Rochdale. I led the whole project, organising staff, booking bands, promoting the event, handling ticket sales, and putting the night together. We ended up raising more than double what we expected and the night was a huge success. The venue asked us to keep putting on shows like this in the future. I am really proud of how it went and it showed that DIY promotion, organising events, and managing projects are things I am genuinely good at.
